Wayne Player is the son of golf great Gary Player. He was on hand at the Pengrowth chalet at the RBC Canadian Open to give an informative talk abut golf and life in general. “ My father was always in good shape. He worked out when it wasn’t the thing to do and he continues to stay in great shape,” said Wayne Player. “ We were flying through Atlanta recently and had to go up a stair area with an escalator right next to it. There were 200 people waiting to get on the escalator up and no one on the stairs. My dad and I decided to climb the stairs 2 at a time. After that my dad said lets do it again and we did it six times in total. We need to do something every day for fitness. Do something small each day. There are very few senior tour players who
are not in good shape.”
